GSM is the most quoted number in the towel trade and the least understood. It describes grams per square metre — density of pile, not quality on its own. Read alongside size and total weight, it tells you exactly how a towel will behave in a bathroom.
30×60 / 600g / 520 GSM
This is our workhorse bath towel. At 520 GSM the pile is dense enough to feel substantial in the hand and absorb quickly, while 600 grams of total weight keeps laundry cycles and drying times sensible for hospitality operators.
It suits hotel guest bathrooms, gyms, serviced apartments and retail programmes where a towel has to look generous and survive repeated industrial washing.
36×72 / 750g / 450 GSM
The oversized format trades a little density for coverage. At 450 GSM across a much larger surface, the towel drapes rather than stands, dries faster after washing, and reads as a spa or resort product.
Choose it for suites, spas, pool decks and premium retail where the wrap-around feel matters more than raw thickness.
How to choose
If the priority is plushness in a standard bathroom, take the 520 GSM. If the priority is coverage, drape and quick turnaround, take the 450 GSM oversized towel.
